A reasonably calm harbour, the place is often teeming with traders from other countries, yet it isn’t so overwhelming that the residents of the city get irritated. Ships can be found docking from foreign countries and there’s always a sense of excitement as cargo is unloaded and fishermen return with their daily catches. A few shops litter the piers and the beach is to the West, but the smell of the sand and sea tends to hang around the whole of Nilelm and not just the harbour.
